School board opposes vouchers

The Lewisburg school board plans to vote on a resolution at its next meeting condemning a bill working its way through Harrisburg that would give low-income parents vouchers to send their children to private schools. The bill calls for taxpayer-paid tuition vouchers to help poor children find alternatives to attending the states weakest-performing public schools.
