Union wrongly denounces school choice plan
Randi Weingarten must have known she was in Detroit, home to the worst-performing urban schools in the nation, when she launched her defense of unionized school teachers, saying they "not only help kids form their dreams but to achieve it." That's true in Detroit only if children are dreaming of a lifetime of dependency.
