Budget Cuts Result in Easier Standardized Tests

As Missouri public school students gear up to take the state's annual standardized test, many will find that this year's exams won't take the time or effort they usually require. State budget cuts are eliminating several sections of the standardized test—parts that require the most extensive writing and elaborate, work-intensive problem-solving—this year and next.
