State Board of Education raises MEAP standards, students must get about 65 percent correct to be 'proficient'
Getting only about a third of the questions on MEAP tests correct won't cut it any more for Michigan students, as state educators on Tuesday adopted more rigorous standards they say will better prepare students for careers and college.
