Exit exam results show students’ improvement

“The results that were just released by the state looked really encouraging for our kids, and it’s a strong testimony to how hard our teachers are working with them,” said John Davis, assistant superintendent for curriculum at the Santa Maria Joint Union High School District. “I think the math and the English/language arts scores and the percentage of students who are passing that on the first shot are inching up.”
