Erie Voice: New school choice bill is the opportunity Erie parents have been waiting for

Every family has different educational needs, and they’re not being met — except for the lucky few, whose ZIP code assigned school is a perfect fit, or the wealthy, who can pay for a private option. But it’s not fair for educational opportunity to rely on a ZIP code or income level. And besides, Erie can’t build a flourishing economy for all unless we empower all to join in.
