HEMET: Charter school's likely closure saddens students

Every morning, 16-year-old Andrew Vasquez walks across the way from his school and into a fifth-grade class and reaffirms what he wants to do with his life. For an hour each morning, he helps in an elementary class, interacting with the younger students and helping in any way he can. For the aspiring teacher, it's a chance to get some hands-on experience at a young age and make sure it's a career path he wants to follow.
