At Grace Academy, A Tuition-Free School That Is ‘There For The Girls’

At Grace Academy, a tuition-free private school that opened six years ago on the south side of Main Street, in a placid church building a few hundred feet from a methadone clinic, getting students to college is at the center of everything. It doesn't matter if the youngest ones here are 10-year-olds in the fifth grade, or that among the 58 girls enrolled, most come from families that will struggle to afford college payments on their own.
